East Africa offers a wonderful selection of wildlife in their natural habitat as existed epochs ago,
the landscapes and sceneries are breathtaking for anybody who has that kind of interest. Starting
with the Rift valley the greatest treasure in scenery spectacles, the Rift comes with magnificent
lakes, escarpments and many other landforms.
Discover East Africa safari will be a ‘combo’ safari going exploring the three east Africa
countries ie Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.Our safari will take you to the stunning views of a
number of well selected sights in this region.
In Tanzania we will visits like the famous Ngorongoro crater, Terangire national park and
Kilimanjaro mountain.
Kenya Highlights will Include, Amboseli, Tsavo, Samburu, Maasai mara and Lake Nakuru
national park and reserves.We will also have a chance to visit Lake Victoria.
This Uganda Safari takes you to Uganda's premier safari parks: Lake Mburo National Park,
Bwindi Gorilla Impenetrable Forest, Kibale Forest National park and Queen Elizabeth National
Park for a mountain gorilla tracking tour, chimpanzee trekking safari, wildlife / game viewing
safari.
There will no be roughing it up in this safari as we will be staying in comfortable safari lodges,
camps and hotels.
This tour will start and end in different countries and cities.
Day 1: Arrival, Meet our Representative /Driver /Guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport You
will be driven in a 4WD Minibus/Land Cruiser /Land Rover ,depending on group size, in either
case the Safari Vehicles are specially designed for Safari with pop-up roofs for game viewing
and a guaranteed window seat for each passenger .
Transfer to Arusha Town with Dinner and Overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge. Safari briefing will
be conducted by the Tour Leader on arrival at the Lodge .
Day 2: After Breakfast, drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Tarangire is a small
wildlife Jewell with a unique animal concentration. Lions , Leopard and some times tree
climbing Pythons are a common view in this park. ,Elephants to very close proximity are
commonly seen. You will have a hot Lunch at the Tarangire Lodge and later drive out of the
park boundaries to Tarangire Porini Luxury Tented .
Day 3: Morning breakfast and a brief game viewing in Tarangire. After luch depart Terangire for
Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in the evening. The rest of the day is
spent relaxing at your balcony with clear views of the crater floor. Dinner and Overnight at the
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Day 4: After the 7:30am Breakfast, you will descend the crater walls onto the crater floor which
has a radius of about 265sqKm. The crater is uniquely dotted with watering holes and sheltering
about 30,000 Mammals including the White bearded Gnus ,cheetah and Tanzania’s only Black
Rhinos." This is the eighth wonder of the world and the world’s only remaining memories of the
"garden of Eden" better described as Noah’s Arc.. After the crater excitement, you will then
ascend the Crater walls to your Sopa Lodge
Day 5: Depart the Ngorongoro conservation area after breakfast, drive into the jungles of Lake
Manyara, Lake Manyara is famous for her tree climbing Lions, large schools of Hippos at the
Hippo pool and the Maji moto hot springs. You will then take your picnic Lunch at one of the
many Picnic sites set aside by the park authorities and then continue exploring the Lake Manyara
jungles, where a good list of wild life will be added to your previous record. Drive out of the
park boundaries in the evening into E Unoto Retreat Tanzania's only true 5 Star Luxury Lodge
set in a remote Maasai Country.
Day 6: We will have an optional Pre breakfast bird walk around E Unoto Retreat, after breakfast
you will have the option to go out game viewing full day back in the Manyara Jungles or just
relax at your Balcony. You can then later join in a walk exploring the local surroundings and
meet the local communities.
Day 7: Leisurely Breakfast and the depart Lake manyara for Amboseli.We will cross the
Tanzania Uganda border at Loitoktok border. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli sentrim camp.
Day 8: After an early breakfast, we will have a full day animal viewing in Amboseli national
park and laster visit the local ‘Manyatta’.
Day 9: Break fast and later enjoy game viewing out route to Tsavo east Nationa park the land of
the man eaters.Enjoy wildlife viewing enroute Tsavo east national park. Dinner and overnight at
Ngulia safari lodge.
Day 10: Full day game viewing in Tsavo east national park.In the evening enjoy the panoramic
view of the tsavos from the lodge.
Day 11: Leave Tsavo east national park for Nairobi city arriving in the evening. We will have
stunning views of the lowland Kenya on our drive.Dinner and overnight at milimani hotel.
Day 12: After breakfast, depart for Samburu Game Reserve, for the first time during the safari
we will cross the Equator. Enjoy Samburu game enroute to the park. North of equator will offer
quite a diverse wildlife views
Day 14‐15 : Full day at Samburu Game Reserve. Early morning and afternoon game drives.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Samburu sentrim.
Day 16: After early morning gamedrive and breakfast, depart for Mount rock hotel.Arrive at the
club in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at mountain rock
hotel.
Day 18: After breakfast, depart for the scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park,a World
Heritage Site. Arrive by lunchtime. After lunch, depart overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Camp.
Day 19: Full day wildlife viewing in the park.
Day 20: Depart Lake Nakuru national park to Maasai Mara national reserve. Enjoy a game drive
enroute in the dotted plains.
Day 21-22: Full day animal viewing in the reserve.
Day 23: Depart Maasai mara after breakfast for the lake Victoria city Kisumu. Visit the shores
on arrival.
Day 24: Spend the whole day discovering the hidden treasures of Kisumu. We will also enjoy a
‘fascinating’ boat ride at the lake.
Day 25: Depart Kisumu for Kampala, at this point we will cross the Kenya Uganda border at
Busia.Arrive Kampala in the evening.
Day 26: Leave Kampala to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the mountain
gorillas! Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp
Day 27 : Wake up early morning for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla
tracking. Before 8:00 am report to the ranger station for a brief talk by one of the rangers as well
as registration; the guides will then take you to track the gorillas through the bush pushing your
way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. When the gorillas are sighted, visitors
will be guided to within 6 metre of them and visitors; you will be told to sit around these animals
for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. These giants are so powerful and can
sometimes weigh up to 250kilos. A reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy
pair of walking shoes, as this trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours. Take with you lunch
boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most
exciting wildlife experiences. It’s amazing to listen to them grumble to each other, and marvel at
the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback as well as watch only about 650 of these
beautiful creatures left as Park Guides interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the
Gorillas. In the afternoon relax at the Camp OR an option of taking a forest walk to see how the
Ugandans live. Overnight at Mantana tented Camp /Gorilla Resort / any Safari Lodge (FB)
Day 28: After breakfast you will later be transferred to Kampala city for your outbound flight
having discovered what East Africa is made of
